About Rhegan White

“I want all my clients to feel inspired by the potential they have with their horses. My job as their trainer is to tune up the communication system between rider and horse and help them to create a new training regime for better results! “

After moving from Vancouver, Canada, Rhegan began her UK dressage career in 1996 when she took her first lesson with Adam Kemp at the Talland School of Equitation. In 1998, Rhegan and Adam set up Aderro Dressage Horses and began importing young horses from Holland and Germany to school and compete. In 1999 Rhegan began her classical training education with Emile Faurie and Conrad Schumacher.

Her competition dressage journey took her to the BD Regional and National Championships and International competitions representing Canada at FEI shows in Barzago, Italy (see photo below) and Saumur, France as well as Hickstead, Hartpury and Fry’s in the UK.

She has trained numerous horses through the levels, including Aderro Monaco to Intermediaire II and Aderro Galapagos to Grand Prix, both of which she has ridden in the UK Premier League series.

In 2005 Rhegan built the Aderro Dressage Centre at Kites Nest Farm, in Gloucestershire. A state-of-the-art equestrian centre, the ADC hosted numerous seminars and clinics, including regular training sessions with Emile Faurie and 2/3-day clinics with Conrad Schumacher and welcomed many spectators over the 3 years when they were running. Rhegan produced the Preparing to Win Seminar at the Hand Equestrian centre in November 2007 and co-wrote, produced and narrated the Prepare to Win DVD with Conrad Schumacher in 2008.

The Aderro Dressage Centre has been sold recently and Rhegan is now a freelance trainer, based in Wiltshire. She continues to judge, ride and teach regularly and is planning the production of a second DVD with Conrad Schumacher.

In addition, Rhegan writes a monthly dressage commentary for HorseMart magazine.

A British Dressage Registered Trainer, her students appreciate her patience and understanding in creating a more balanced partnership between horse and rider to improve results in and out of the competition ring.

Through several years of consistent training with Conrad Schumacher and Emile Faurie, Rhegan understands the importance of classical German training and consistently incorporates the principles of the Scales of Training in her lessons.

As a listed judge, she is able to help students to understand better the view from the judges seat, helping them to improve their performance in the competition ring.
