I am a professional classical dressage rider and trainer schooled in the German School of Dressage by Emile Faurie and Conrad Schumacher for the past 10 years (about me). As founder of Aderro Dressage Horses and the Aderro Dressage Centre, I have been actively involved in training horses, teaching students and running dressage seminars with Conrad Schumacher and Emile Faurie for the past 5 years. In 2008 I produced and co-wrote the Conrad Schumacher DVD, Prepare to Win.
Currently, I am based in Wiltshire as a freelance instructor, teaching at clinics throughout the UK.
In training, I focus on strengthening the communication between horse and rider by helping my students to understand the practical theory behind classical dressage giving them a customized working program to use at home and in a test warm-up. As a listed dressage judge and seasoned competitor, I work to improve test performance and rider confidence.
Aderro Dressage continues to plan and promote educational seminars in the UK, such as the Preparing To Win Seminar with Conrad Schumacher series, which will continue this autumn.
With my journalists cap on, I contribute a monthly dressage feature to Horsemart Magazine and Website which includes interviews with dressage “personalities” and commentaries on subjects ranging from Buying Your First Horse to Top Tips for Test Warm-ups. Interviews and Articles
